Ribbon Flower

This is one of the cards we did for a ribbon technique class. You start with 11" of satin ribbon and cut slits from one side every inch. The slits are most of the way across also. Take a 1 3/8" circle punch and punch a double sided adhesive paper. Peel one side and start on the inside and begin to go around and adhere the ribbon to the circle. When finished, heat slightly to curl the ribbon. I added a pearl to hide the center.

The card is early espresso with a layer 4" x 5 1/4" of very vanilla that I used the Elegant Lines embossing folder with. Then sponged EE over the raised area. The bottom EE was made with the Finishing Touches edgelit.
